Contracted to conduct the venue search for the 2014 conference, I was provided with information about the style of event the network wanted to host and background on the group's needs. In the one month of my contract I provided a comprehensive review of high-end hotels in Manhattan. I submitted RFPs to hotels that deemed appropriate for the group, conducted walk-throughs, and created and sustained relationships with the hotel conference sales staff. I updated IIC Partners by email and phone with my review of the spaces and a matrix that I created to easily view pricing, location, and additional offerings for each hotel. Because this was an members only event, there is no public online presence.
