Founded in 1974, the Women's Forum is a community where preeminent New York women leaders of diverse achievement come together to make a difference for each other and to take an active, leadership role in matters of importance to them.

WF is New York's premier organization of women leaders comprised of the highest women achievers across all professional sectors from finance to fine arts.

 

I was contracted to support and organize logisitics for the Women's Forum 2013 Breakfast of Corporate Champions (BCC). This event honors Fortune 500 companies nationally and Fortune 1000 companies in the New York metropolitan area for having at least 20% women on their board of directors. The 2013 event was held at the New York Stock Exchange and honored 205 companies.

 

I created relationships with the C-Suite at each of the honored companies, sent invitations, keep track of RSVPs, and act as point of contact for event inquiries. I also brought in new technology for day of event check-in through use of Zkipster, a check-in app, which Women’s Forum continues to use for all of their events. Day of, I trained staff and volunteers on the check-in app and important information about the event and was the on-site lead.
